Dnieper is the third biggest city in Ukraine and has a population of 1,049,000 people and is considered one of the largest and most developed industrial centers of Ukraine.
The city is located on the banks of the Dnieper River and from that is the source of the city’s name – the city of Dnieper.
The city has beautiful historical parks, fountains, impressive bridges, varied nightlife and great restaurants and pubs.
The city is home to the metal industry and has huge factories for the gas production and oil pipelines, cars, transportation, and chemical factories. It also contains the Ukrainian space industry, which produces satellites and equipment for Ukraine’s spacecraft and aerospace industries.
The city’s location in the center of the country constitutes a well-developed transportation junction in the city passing railroads across Ukraine and major roads.
Traffic in the city itself is conveniently made possible by the light rail, subway buses and service buses that are common throughout Ukraine.
The city has an international airport that allows direct flights to Europe and various other countries around the world.
